WHERE
Emilie and Caleb’s “Le Village” is located in the charming village of Dampierre en Yvelines. It is not far from Paris (1 hour drive) in an enchanting nature reserve and is easily accessible by train. The house has an SRF meditation chapel, two large bedrooms, a bathroom, 2 toilets and a kitchen. There is also a garden and a large terrace, ideal for recharging exercises. 10 people can be accommodated in the house and a few more can camp in the camping garden.
DETAILS
We cordially invite you to another Convocation Retreat, parallel to the retreat in Germany, near Paris. Common morning and evening meditations, time for retreat in the cozy house and meditation garden, spiritual community, walks in the beautiful nature reserve, chanting and studying the scriptures are a few of the many possibilities in “Le Village”.
Since the beginning of the year, Caleb and Emilie have made some changes to their retreats to accommodate young adults in particular. Feel free to contact them for more details.
COSTS
The cost per person during a retreat is 20 euros per day to allow everyone to stay, but additional donations are welcome to help cover expenses. Those who wish to camp outdoors can also donate as little as 15 euros per day.
Members with craft skills (ex: Painting, renovating/building wooden huts, gardening, masonry, or other useful skills) can stay for free outside of organized retreat time.
